Privacy Policy

Account info — your name, email address and profile photo when you sign up with Google or an email and password. Passwords are stored securely hashed; we never see them in plain text.

Photos you upload — room and furniture photos you submit for AI redesigns, job requests, portfolios and the transformations gallery. Photos are processed by our AI image provider solely to generate your designs.

Home services data — job details (category, description, ZIP code), quotes, reviews and in-app messages between customers and pros. Chat messages are automatically filtered for shared contact details to keep both sides safe.

Payment data — payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card number; we keep only transaction records (amounts, status) needed to run escrow payments, payouts and subscriptions.

Device data — if you enable notifications, we store a push subscription for your browser/device. Basic technical logs (IP, browser type) are kept for security and rate limiting.

To run the service: generate AI designs, match jobs with pros, process payments, send notifications you asked for, and send emails such as the weekly digest and monthly pro recaps (each email includes an unsubscribe link).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

Only the processors needed to operate HomeMates: Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), our AI image-generation provider (design processing), and Resend (email delivery). Public content you choose to publish — feed posts, shared boards, blueprints and showcased transformations — is visible to other users.

You can delete your posts, boards and blueprints in the app, unsubscribe from emails via the link in any email, and disable push notifications in your browser settings. You may request a copy or full deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us — we'll act within 30 days.

Data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to production data is restricted.

HomeMates is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
